2021 – 12 Esoteric Visionary Rituals

Please join me for a series of individual classes on various topics, linking discussion, lore, and theory, and culminating in visionary ritual with a deep guided journey to encounter the powers described in each class. No specific prior knowledge is needed, and the only criteria a willingness to dive deep and experience directly. Take one, or take the series, and while each stands alone, participants in the series will see the subtle alignments linking all twelve ritual classes and deepening the entire experience. Classes will be held on Zoom and audio recorded to allow you to repeat the journey again and again at your leisure. Each class will have PDF handout.

Those who register for the whole series will be invited to a special Facebook Discussion Group to share your experiences as the year progresses.
Each ritual has suggested items for it, which while they can enhance the experience, are NOT required to participate.

The Seven Heavens

The world above and below are often seen as mirrors of the seven heavens, embodied by the planetary spheres, to the seven underworlds, with the Earth in-between. With concepts found in alchemy, hermeticism and Qabalah, we shall climb the ladder of heaven through a ritual journey of the seven spheres, using sound, word, and image to ascend from the earth through the seven planetary realms and encounter their inhabitants. Explore. Understand. Integrate. Each can reveal what powers are integrated and what powers need to be rebalanced within you. Seven small candles to be lit before the ritual begins helps facilitate the process.
Evocation to Bridget

Bridget are all faces of this incredible divinity rooted in the old gods and faery traditions and finding expression in Celtic Christianity. She is a triple goddess honored at Imbolc, and matron of healing, poetry and smith-craft. She is the goddess of health, inspiration, and manifestation, along with her two sisters, also named Bridget. Her veneration is linked with sacred fires of Kildare Ireland and the water of holy wells. In some tales, she helped create the world through the use of her Green Mantle upon the land, creating the lush greenery of Ireland. What do you have to share with Bridget, and what might she share with you? Through a simple ritual and visionary journey, discover the blessings of Bridget for yourself. A cup of water, a nail and candle can be used as a ritual focus.

We shall review various theories and soul models of past lives, memory, and reincarnation, including the ideas of the akashic records and inner earth libraries before embarking upon our journey. She is the goddess of creation, destruction and ultimately change. Her patterns and cycles are vast in both the familiar annual cycle and the geological. Like us, she has many systems and spheres. Deepen your understanding, experience and communion with the Earth Mother. A vessel filled with local soil can help you facilitate this experience.

The ancient mounds are often considered not only burial tombs, but portals to lands within the Earth, and to the most ancient layers of consciousness. Humans seek them to interface with a time, place, and consciousness older and wiser than our own. Seek the Lord of the Hollow Hill. Ancestral Warrior? Faery King? Giant? Archangel? Who sleeps and dreams the dream in the Heart of the Earth? Can you participate in this dream? A vessel of soil with a small candle upon it will aid the journey as a focus.

While we often take the time to rest and heal in the physical, particularly after injury or illness, we often disregard wounds and illness on the mental, emotional, or spiritual levels, or the problems that occur from practicing magick. Seek the allies of healing for a spiritual “tune up” or to begin deeper longer work together. The Healing Temple creates a pattern of healing calling upon the Archangels, Mighty Dead, Elementals, Ancestors, Spirits of the Bodily Organs, and Deities to work together on all levels for your own elevation and evolution. Selfheal (Prunella vulgaris) in a charm bag, as a tea, or ideally as a flower essence will aid this work.

They are all manifestations of the forces of rebalance when the natural and divine order is disturbed, a magickal response to minimize harm and restore order. The Master of the Wild hunt runs through the dark forests roads and hidden tracks in the wintertide, gathering up the lost and haunted souls, and those who disturb the peace of the land. Led by a hunter, an ancestral hero, a faery, or divinity, the troupe of otherworldly inhabitants seem to haunt the land, but also return the dead to their realm in the dark half of the year. Through this working learn about and commune with the traditional masters of the seven rays from not only a Theosophical perspective but widen that perspective to align with those in modern Witchcraft and Paganism.
