Building the Outer Temple of Witchcraft
In his first book of the series, Christopher Penczak focused on building an inner sacred space as the foundation of your magical practice. In the second book of the series, The Outer Temple of Witchcraft, the reader is encouraged to bring the inner sacred space out through ritual. Unlike spell cookbooks and rituals done by rote, the practitioner is encouraged to partner with the forces of the natural world - from the four elements, plants and stones to the embodiments of nature found in the divinities. Learn how to partner with the force of magick, to bridge the gap from the inner temples to the outer temples, through this workshop and guided meditation. At various times, the Ogham is claimed to be a code language, a system of divination, a calendar and a system of magical lore. Explore the history and myth of the tree alphabet, and learn how to use it in your life and magical practice. Learn how the Ogham relates to the Celtic other worlds. City Magick: Magical Living in the Modern World Lecture and Book Signing
Living in the modern world, we often lose touch with the magick of nature found all around us. We feel disconnected from the forces of life, with the stressful hustle and bustle required from society. You can re-establish your magical strength from embracing the natural forces of urban life. Find the magick all around you, and partner with it, to create new traditions and transform your life. (One Class, 1-2 hours lecture.)
Craft of the Witch: Symbol Magick
Learn the craft of making magical symbols and sigils. Explore runes, astrological symbols and personal sigils as a vehicle for your magical intentions. Create your own magical symbols in class. (One Class, 2-3 hours.)
Craft of the Witch: Candle Magick
Use color, intention and fire to manifest your dreams and goals. Simple and more elaborate candle rituals will be discussed. Empower your own candle in class. If you have a particular color candle you want to use, please bring it. If not, candles will be provided in class. (One Class, 2-3 hours.)
Craft of the Witch: Potion Magick
Combine various herbs, crystals and oils into magical potions for protection, love, abundance and healing. A potion will be made as a group in class and everyone will receive a sample. (One Class, 2-3 hours.)
Craft of the Witch: Amulets and Talismans
Create a magical charm filled with your intention. Use potions, oils, flower essences and crystals to make a charm bag or pendent infused with your magical intentions. (One Class, 2-3 hours.)
Crystal Healing
Crystal healing is an age old art tracing its practices to the ancient civilizations of Egypt and Greece. The properties of minerals were used to bring balance and harmony. Explore the fundamentals of crystal healing, including choosing, cleansing, charging, and laying on of stones; chakra balancing, aura energizing, crystal grids and gem elixirs. Learn which stones resonate with each body part and how to use them safely for healing, particularly in the context of a bodywork session or creating a treatment room. Crystal Healing can be used alone, or in conjunction with other healing modalities. Learn to use the power of stones to heal your own body, your clients and create a sacred, protective space around your home and workspace. (Day Workshop, 5-6 hours.)
Crystal Kingdom
Practice the art of cleansing, dedicating and programming crystals, gems and mineral. Learn to unlock the powers of each crystal through color, quality, shape and meditation. Crystal intentions, healing layouts, gem elixirs and creating energy grids for yourself and the planet will be discussed. Experiment and experience the energies of many different crystals.
