While many people are familiar with the concept of a totem animal, an animal spirit that guides you on your spiritual journey, less well known is the concept of a plant totem, an herbal spirit ally that teaches and heals. Just as animal spirits act as guides and protectors, plant spirits also act as guardians, tutors and intermediaries. European traditions call this spirit a familiar, and just as black cat or white hare can be your animal familiar, Rose, Mugwort or Oak can be your plant familiar. Those drawn to herbs, trees and power plants often have several plant spirit familiars. They aid us in our magickal work, healing, herbalism and understanding the mysteries of nature. Come learn about your own plant spirits. Based upon Christopher's latest book, the Plant Spirit Familiar.

Everyone is said to have a guiding animal spirit, a totem, protecting the individual or tribe from harm and leading them on the path of life. In witchcraft and magick, such a spirit is known as a familiar, or sometimes fetch beast, and both connect us to the gods and spirit world, and the parts of our own soul. Many deities are strongly aligned with animal powers because of their ability to heal and aid spiritual evolution. Find your own animal familiar and build your team of animal allies. Learn the role of the animal familiar in the development of the soul, and strengthen your bond with it. Work with the healing forces of animal medicine and walk the roads of initiation with the creatures of flesh and blood, as we explore the deeper mysteries of the Stag, Crow, Horse and Snake. Experience the art of shape shifting in the traditions of the skin walker and embody the blessing of your animal ally. Camping on site for a small fee for those staying the weekend. Please enquire.

Prosperity and money are the most requested goals of many beginning spell casters. Witches seek to live in balance and trust the Goddess and God to provide what is needed, but also must take an active role in creating our own success. Our philosophy is one of balance, harmony and FFFF – Flax, Flags, Fodder and Frigg, the essentials of life – Clothing, Home, Food and Love.
